Garlic bread two ways

Hi everyone

I can feel the fall spirit coming, I’m madly in love with all the good veggies we are getting here up in the north right now.  We have eaten so many florets of Icelandic broccoli and carrots and potatoes and…

For the last 4-6 week I have been loving garlic bread and to have garlic butter on hand, it makes live so much more flavourful and fun.

Today I’m going to share with you my garlic butter and my two favourite ways to use it. I did make a video so you can see how I do it. But here is the recipe for the garlic butter.

Recipe makes 100 gr of garlic butter:

100 gr vegan butter

2 garlic cloves

1/2 Tbsp oregano

1 Tbsp parsley

dash of salt.

Stir everything together. I like to use a fork, but you can use what every feels best to you.

Of course you need to have nutritional yeast on hand to drizzle on top.

Basil pesto |Vegan, nut free

Hello everyone

Already one year since I started this blog. Unbelievable .

Do you love joe and the juice sandwiches? they are so good. I’ve made my own, it is made with this pesto, but like says in the title, without the cheese and without the nuts.

Take you favorite bread, spread pesto on both slices, add avocado slices, tomato slices. If you have a favorite vegan cheese you can add that to. Put in a Panini press or a sandwich press for couple of minutes. It’s ready.

Recipe for pesto

Basil About 100 gr (3-4 handfuls)

Garlic 2 cloves

Sunflower seeds 1/2 cup

Nutritional yeast 2 Tbsp

Salt 1/2 tsp

Olive oil have on hand 1 cup you might not need it all.

Mix until everything is well combined. If you like your pesto a bit rough you can mix less.

Veggie pasta sauce

Hi guys

So where to start.

When we came home from our vacation, everything was really hectic.

I’ve not had any time extra to do a blog post or anything else for that matter. But I managed to shoot a new video at lunch time the other day when my youngest was sleeping. But editing it has taking me quite a few days with both kids still home. The kindergarten is still closed ’cause of summer vacations.

Vegan Breadsticks

Hi everyone

As you may know, we always have a pizza party here at our house on Friday nights, most of the time, we have my sister and her family over. Some Fridays we have friends over. When I have left over pizza dough, I always make bread sticks. This recipe is my favorite. The nutritional yeast acts like parmesan.
