Banana Ice cream #1

Hi boys and girls.

Finally it looks like spring is here in Iceland. So my Daughter and I made this amazing Banana ice cream the other day, she was so excited, she couldn’t take her eyes of what I was doing to whole time. We made the Ice cream with chocolate and peanut butter flavour. It was so amazing.

If you have not made banana ice cream before you need to try it. It is so good.

First you need to peel couple of bananas, I used 4 bananas for this recipe. Put them to the freezer, for at least 24 hours. Take them out of the freezer 30 minutes before you’re going to make the ice cream.

Put the bananas to a food processor, blend for couple of minutes, then add cacao powder, peanut butter and chocolate chips of your choice.

I was so lucky I got help with the peanut butter, 5 year olds can be very helpful in the kitchen.

I used white nougat crisp chocolate for chocolate chips. Which I blended in when the Ice cream was ready.

This is a perfect recipe for summer, I will be making so many more versions of banana Ice cream this summer. I’ll keep you posted with more banana ice cream recipes this summer. Such as the vanilla one, and maybe something exotic.

I hope you try this banana ice cream.

Until next time ❤
